Senior Master, 7th Degree Black Belt, Sin Moo Hapkido

Master Laura Beluschak is a 7th degree black belt in Sin Moo Hapkido, also holding the distinction of the highest ranking female in the art. She has studied for over 30 years under Grandmaster John Beluschak and Do Ju Ni Ji, Han Jae. Mrs. Beluschak is also a certified Te-Geri instructor under Master David Deaton, the inventor and director of Te-Geri, and was recognized as the 2012 Most Inspirational Instructor by the U.S. Martial Arts Association.


As a self-defense competitor, Mrs. Beluschak has won numerous championships including the Hwa Rang Do Classic and the Superstars of Martial Arts event. In 1998, she was also invited to participate at the first annual World Martial Arts Competition in Seoul South Korea. As a past judo competitor, Mrs. Beluschak has won several in-house events.


In 2002, she was honored by the U.S. Martial Arts Association for fifteen years of experience as an instructor in Hapkido and Te-geri, and in 2009 was awarded for excellence in instruction by Action Martial Arts Magazine.

Mrs. Beluschak is currently chief instructor at the American Judo-Hapikdo Institute in Waynesburg, Pa. and the only female board member of the Sin Moo Legacy Group.
